Technical Support Partner

Southland - Invercargill

The world of local government awaits you if you are an experienced administrator wanting to broaden your portfolio. This role isn’t for the faint hearted as you will be part of the team who support our busy Environmental Services Group, which is responsible for the regulatory side of our business – the building, resource management, animal control, liquor and food licensing teams.

You need to thrive in an environment where you could be doing 10 things at once, anticipating everyone’s needs - all with a smile on your face and a calm demeanour. You will ensure things get done and everything is on time as our teams work to tight legislative timeframes.  You will be a key part of the council team, focused on business improvement and ensuring our customers get the very best of service.

If your strengths are superb organisation and administration skills, an eye for detail, process and system improvement, fantastic relationship building skills and a strong customer focus then this is the role for you.

It goes without saying that you will be technology savvy, able to use your initiative and committed to continuous improvement of both yourself and our business.  Working as an administrator in the building environment would be an advantage.

In return we recognise that staff are our most valuable asset.  We believe in supporting them in their training and development, having competitive remuneration packages which are benchmarked against market rates, providing the best of equipment and technology and an environment which enables personal growth.
